My favorite, underappreciated gameday tradition this season has been courtesy of the defense.
For every road game, the squad pulls out all the stops for their gameday fashion. Each week there is a theme and the guys are dressed to the nines.
Have you noticed the coordinated suits?
(Gus Edwards snuck in on this one.)
Unfortunately, no one gave me the memo. Suits aren't really my thing anyway.
This Sunday, the whole squad will be rocking something special on gameday. The Buccaneers game is our My Cause, My Cleats game, where each player is given special permission to wear customized cleats. Each player's cleats will represent a cause that is special to him.
It's almost time for New Year's resolutions, but if you need some motivation, the guys always have you covered on social.
How sweet is this special shoutout from Alex Collins to his mom? Respect.
Speaking of respect, I want to take a moment to recognize the awesome work Brandon Carr has done this week. This Monday, he started off the day at a local elementary/middle school where he runs a reading buddies program. But, this week he had a special surprise for the school's principal.
Later that same day, he hosted the Ravens Holiday Helpers event, where his foundation sponsored a shopping spree for sixty local fourth and fifth-grade students.
All in a day's work for our Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.
