A couple of key defensive players will return Sunday in Cincinnati, as outside linebacker Tavius Robinson and safety Ar'Darius Washington have been activated to the Ravens' 53-man roster.

Robinson has missed the past seven games due to a foot injury and Washington is set to make his season debut after suffering an Achilles injury in May.

The Ravens only had 51 players on their roster, so they didn't have to make any cuts to accommodate Robinson and Washington's returns.

Robinson led the Ravens with two sacks before going down, and his return adds more bite to the defensive front in tandem with defensive end Dre'Mont Jones.

The Ravens will need to do well slowing down Bengals running back Chase Brown and getting pressure on quarterback Joe Burrow, who threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns in their meeting two weeks ago.

"I'm hoping to get back out there, bring a little juice and bring that energy," Robinson said. "[I want to] just give the energy to go out there and get it done and affect the quarterback."

Washington is a versatile player who could see time at slot cornerback and other spots in the Ravens secondary. He was one of the Ravens' best defensive players down the stretch last season and finished with 64 tackles, two interceptions, and one sack.

"Whenever they put me out there on the field, I'm going to be ready to go," Washington said. "I didn't come back to not play."
