Las Vegas Raiders at Baltimore Ravens on September 15, 2024 at M&T Bank Stadium

Las Vegas Raiders at Baltimore Ravens, September 15, 2024

  • In their 2024 home opener, the Baltimore Ravens host the Las Vegas Raiders for a Week 2 battle from M&T Bank Stadium (1 p.m. kickoff). The Ravens are 20-8 all-time in home openers, sporting a 13-3 mark with head coach John Harbaugh at the helm.
  • In his 17th season with the Ravens, Harbaugh stands as the NFL's second-longest-tenured coach (Mike Tomlin - 18). Under Harbaugh, Baltimore (11) is one of four teams (NE - 12, GB - 12 & KC - 11) to earn a playoff berth in at least 11 of the past 16 seasons. Baltimore (5) is also one of four teams (KC - 6, Buf. - 5 & Phi. - 5) to make the playoffs in at least five of the past six seasons (2018-23).
  • Baltimore holds an 8-4 regular season series lead vs. the Raiders, including a 6-1 mark at home. Under Harbaugh, the Ravens are 5-3 against the Raiders, producing a 3-1 record in Charm City.
  • The Ravens-Raiders series has seen its share of offensive fireworks, with both teams combining for over 50 points in five of the past six contests. These teams last met in 2021, when Baltimore opened the season at Las Vegas and fell, 33-27, in an OT contest on Monday Night Football.
  • In the NFL's season-opening game (Thurs., 9/5), the Ravens dropped a 27-20 heartbreaker at Kansas City. QB Lamar Jackson found TE Isaiah Likely for what was originally ruled a 10-yard TD pass as time expired in the fourth quarter, but the call was overturned upon review showing that Likely's toe tip was out of bounds. Jackson completed 26-of-41 passes for 273 yards and 1 TD (a 49-yarder to Likely), also rushing for a game-high 122 yards on 16 carries. Likely recorded game bests in catches (9) and receiving yards (111), while Baltimore racked up 185 yards rushing as part of 452 total yards, compared to Kansas City's 353.
