Pittsburgh Steelers: Aaron Rodgers Reportedly Wants to Keep Playing With Injured Wrist

Aaron Rodgers thinks he can keep playing after suffering a fracture to his non-throwing wrist, and hopes to be in the lineup Week 12 when the Steelers (6-4) visit the Chicago Bears, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

"Aaron Rodgers, to my understanding, has told people close to him that he will be back very soon," Rapaport said. "He has told more people close to him that he does not want to miss a game. He is pushing to play in this game (at Chicago)."

The Steelers maintained their one-game division lead over the Ravens with a 34-12 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The 41-year-old Rodgers will do everything he can to stay atop the AFC North standings.

"I know it seems crazy because he broke a bone in his wrist. But it's a left wrist. If he's able to grip, if he's able to receive the ball on the snap, it is actually possible that Rodgers could play this weekend," Rapoport said. "I had someone tell me he was essentially 50-50 to play this week."

Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph played well for Pittsburgh, completing 12 of 16 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown and leading the Steelers on two long touchdown drives. Rudolph played the second half after Rodgers exited the game shortly before halftime.

Cincinnati Bengals: Ja'Marr Chase Faces Possible Suspension If NFL Determines He Spit on Jalen Ramsey

The Bengals (3-7) suffered their third straight loss in Week 11 and could lose star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase for their next game when they host the New England Patriots.

Chase and Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey scuffled during Pittsburgh's victory and Ramsey was ejected for throwing a punch. Ramsey said he reacted because Chase spat on him. Chase denied the accusation, although there is video that seems to support Ramsey’s claim.

Chase did not change his stance that he didn't spit on Ramsey when asked in the locker room after the game.

However, a decision from the NFL is expected on Monday after reviewing the incident, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Meanwhile, the Bengals' defense, ranked last in the NFL, continued to struggle, giving up 188 rushing yards and 27 points in the second half. The Steelers defense scored two of their touchdowns, however.

Cleveland Browns: Kevin Stefanski Says Dillon Gabriel Will Start in Week 12 If Cleared

Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski said rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel will start against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12 if he's cleared from concussion protocol.

Gabriel suffered the injury against the Ravens on Sunday and was relieved in the second half by rookie Shedeur Sanders, who saw his first NFL action.

Stefanski said he was not discouraged by Sanders’ performance, after he completed just four of 16 passes for 47 yards in Baltimore's 23-16 win.

"There's plays I know he wants back but he'll keep working," Stefanski said via the Browns' website. "Shedeur's made unbelievable strides in the meeting room, on the practice field. I know he wants to be better and he will be better. But that's just going to come from hard work."

Stefanski said starting left tackle Cam Robinson suffered a knee injury against the Ravens and would have an MRI on Monday.
