Dennis Pitta Added To Non-Practice Participants

Tight end Dennis Pitta joined linebacker Dannell Ellerbe among those who did not practice for the Ravens Friday afternoon.

Pitta was limited in practice Thursday due to a thigh issue, but was downgraded a day later. Ellerbe is still not on the field due to his ankle and back.

It's a new injury for Pitta considering he wasn't listed on the team report at all last week. Thus, it was likely suffered in Sunday's AFC championship. Pitta has yet to miss a game this year.

Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (knee), cornerback Asa Jackson (thigh) and wide receiver David Reed (thigh) went from limited participants to full.

All the players on the Ravens' injury report are listed as questionable to play as of now, but there will be more reports next week as Super Bowl XLVII draws nearer.

For the 49ers, linebacker Ahmad Brooks (shoulder) moved from a non-participant Wednesday and Thursday to limited on Friday. Fellow linebacker Aldon Smith (shoulder) is still limited. Both are listed as probable to play.

Reserve tight end Garrett Celek is still out of practice and is questionable.
