Defensive tackle Zach Sieler has made his return to the Ravens' 53-man roster.
Sieler was promoted from the practice squad Saturday and could be activated for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. A Ravens seventh-round pick in 2017, Sieler was among the final roster cuts in September. The Ravens had a roster vacancy after safety-special teams player Brynden Trawick (elbow) was placed on injured reserve this week.
Sieler's promotion adds depth to the defensive line rotation anchored by Pro Bowl defensive tackle Brandon Wiliams, Michael Pierce and Chris Wormley. Patrick Ricard splits time between fullback and defensive tackle. Rookie defensive lineman Daylon Mack made his debut in Week 4 after being inactive the first three weeks. Wiiliams (knee) did not play Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, but he returned to practice Thursday and is expected to play in Pittsburgh.
