Jacoby Jones, Marlon Brown Sit In Miami

The Ravens will be short at wide receiver in Miami.

Jacoby Jones (knee) was not able to suit up after returning to practice this week. The Ravens will also be without the man who replaced him, rookie Marlon Brown, as he has a thigh injury. Both are inactive Sunday.

The Ravens will have wide receiver Deonte Thompson, who is coming back from a concussion last week in Buffalo. Thompson showed explosiveness in his first game of the season, catching four passes for 50 yards.

Baltimore's only healthy wide receivers are Torrey Smith, Thompson and Tandon Doss. The Ravens released veteran wide receiver Brandon Stokley Saturday.

Newly acquired left tackle Eugene Monroe is also inactive.

He only had two practices and a walk-through to get up to speed, and even though he was a quick study and put in extra time, he must not have felt comfortable yet. Head Coach John Harbaugh said on Friday he would leave it up to Monroe to determine whether he felt comfortable enough.

That means Bryant McKinnie will get another start at left tackle.

The Ravens are also without two of their run stuffers. Terrence Cody (knee) and Marcus Spears (knee) are both inactive. It's the second straight game Cody will miss, and the first for Spears.

The Ravens do have cornerback Lardarius Webb, who didn't practice two days this week and was limited Friday because of a thigh injury.

Baltimore's other two inactives are guard/tackle Jah Reid and center Ryan Jensen.

Miami's inactives are quarterback Pat Devlin, running back Mike Gillislee, cornerback Dimitri Patterson, cornerback Will Davis, linebacker Josh Kaddu, guard Danny Watkins and guard Dallas Thomas.

Top Dolphins pass rusher Cameron Wake (knee) is active after sitting out last week.
