Rookie cornerback Keyon Martin was forced to stay in Cleveland a little longer than he expected following Sunday's victory.

Head Coach John Harbaugh said Martin returned to Baltimore Monday after being examined at a hospital with a chest injury.

"Looks like he's OK," Harbaugh said. "He had a bunch of testing there in the hospital last night. All came out negative, in a good way. He's back now. We'll see how that progresses in the next 24 hours."

Martin played 18 defensive snaps (32.7%) against the Browns and had one of his best overall games with a pass breakup and his first career sack. The undrafted rookie has been a regular on special teams all season and has continued to make plays as he did during the summer when he earned a roster spot.

"That sack, he had a couple of good coverages, he had a batted ball," Harbaugh said. "I thought he played really well. He played well on special teams [and] has been."

Martin helped pick up some of the slack for Pro Bowl cornerback Marlon Humphrey (finger), who did not play against Cleveland.

Harbaugh is hopeful that Humphrey, who had a procedure to insert a pin in his dislocated finger, will be back in the lineup to face the New York Jets in Week 12.

"I'm optimistic about that right now," Harbaugh said.

Another Former Ravens Quarterback to Start in Baltimore

In Week 2, former Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco returned to M&T Bank Stadium as a visitor when he started for the Browns against Baltimore.

In Week 12, another former Ravens quarterback will be in the house. Tyrod Taylor, who was Flacco's backup on Baltimore's Super Bowl championship team in the 2012 season, will reportedly start for the Jets on Sunday. The Jets (2-8) rank last in the NFL in passing and have decided to bench Justin Fields in favor of Taylor.

The 36-year-old Taylor is playing for his seventh NFL team after entering the league as a sixth-round draft pick for Baltimore in 2011.

Appearing in three games this season, including one start, Taylor has completed 43 of 69 passes for 379 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also rushed for 80 yards on 14 carries and remains a running threat who can escape the pocket.

Taylor has a 28-29-1 career record as a starter and spent four seasons (2011-14) as Flacco's trusted backup. Flacco was one of the NFL's most durable quarterbacks for the Ravens and Taylor never started a game for Baltimore. However, Harbaugh has fond memories of Taylor's time with the Ravens.

"I remember he's a great guy," Harbaugh said. "[I] ran into him a couple times since then. Gave him a big hug. Much respect. What a career. He was a great pick for us, did a great job here. He's been in the league a long time. He's always played well when he's played. It'll be a dimension for us to have to deal with for sure, because he's a really good player."

LaJohntay Wester Had a 'Learning Experience' in Cleveland

There aren't many places as tough as Cleveland to field punts, especially when it's windy (as it often is).

Ravens rookie punt returner LaJohntay Wester found that out the hard way Sunday when a curving punt bounced off his hands and led to a Browns field goal.

"It was a left-footed punter, and the ball's cutting away from him. That's probably one of the most challenging – especially at that end of that stadium," Harbaugh said. "[It's] a really challenging ball. That's one you definitely want to get away from, and so he'll learn from that, I'm sure, and he did as a game went on."

Wester said he's played in worse conditions than he saw in Cleveland. He said he just took his eyes off the ball.

"I think I tracked it pretty good," Wester said. "I just kind of took my eyes off the ball to see if I had room to return it, and when I looked back up, it kind of curved on me. So, I tried to adjust last minute, and I ended up muffing it.

"It definitely was a learning experience. I know now that when the ball is in the air, that's mine. And I have the whole organization on my back, so I have to protect it with my life."

Wester and his former college teammate at Colorado, Shedeur Sanders, both had things to learn from Sunday night. After Sanders completed a quarter of his passing attempts for just 47 yards in his debut, Wester checked on him after the game.

DeAndre Hopkins 'Won the Game' With One Catch

With Rashod Bateman sidelined, DeAndre Hopkins played a season-high 42 snaps. That was 69% of the Ravens' offensive action.

While Hopkins only made one catch (four targets), he made it count with a tough 11-yard gain on second-and-12 with the game tied in the final minutes. Hopkins' catch set up the fourth-and-1 on Mark Andrews' "Hurricane" touchdown run.

"That slant was a heck of a catch – a huge, huge play in the game. I told him that," Harbaugh said. "He wants more and more, and he wants that because that's who he is. And I just told him, I said, 'Dude, you won the game.'"

Hopkins hasn't had more than two receptions in any game this season. His last touchdown came in Week 2 against the Browns. But in the Ravens' celebratory postgame locker room, the veteran wide receiver reveled in a hard-fought fourth straight win.

"I ain't going to lie. When I came here, I did not expect us to start how we started," Hopkins said. "But I think that built us to who we are, and I wouldn't have it no other way."
