Lamar Jackson's presence at the start of the Ravens' voluntary strength and conditioning program spoke volumes.

On Wednesday, his good friend and top wide receiver, Zay Flowers, vouched for Jackson's mindset amidst an offseason of change in Baltimore.

"He is ready, man. I feel like we answer that every year, and he is always ready. So, he's even more ready this year," Flowers said.

"He's excited about the coaching staff. He's excited about getting to work with [Offensive Coordinator] Coach Declan [Doyle]. So yes, he's ready to go. He wants to finish. He wants to get a ring."

Jesse Minter is Jackson's second head coach after he spent his first eight seasons with John Harbaugh. Doyle is Jackson's fourth offensive coordinator, following Marty Mornhinweg, Greg Roman, and Todd Monken.

At League Meetings, Minter said he knew Jackson was excited to get started.

"I think he is excited about some of the changes," Minter said.

Flowers and Jackson train together some during the offseason, and Flowers knows how badly Jackson wants to get over the hump and into the Super Bowl.

Flowers took notice of how former Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald led the Seattle Seahawks to a championship in just his second season. Flowers said he's hoping Minter, a close friend of Macdonald's, can do it even faster in Baltimore.

Jackson, who is coming off an injury-hampered year, is itching to get back into the playoffs and make a run at the Lombardi in 2026.

He added boxing to his offseason training regimen and Ravens Director of Strength & Conditioning Scott Elliott said Jackson's energy and work ethic don't get talked about enough. Flowers was asked if Jackson has increased urgency this offseason.

"Yes, absolutely. We all know that, though. I feel like the whole team knows that," Flowers said.

"I feel like everybody has a window, like different teams. It doesn't matter who it is, you are going to have a window, and you have to just seize your opportunity. And this is our window, I feel like."
