Media Advisory - Ravens And Baltimore Community Foundation Host 2012 Scholarship Luncheon Thursday (


Former Ravens Pro Bowl K Matt Stoverwill speak at the Baltimore Community Foundation Scholarship Luncheon at M&T Bank Stadium this Thursday, May 31. The Baltimore Community Foundation (BCF) will announce the winners of this year's scholarship awards, and two current BCF scholarship recipients will speak about the importance of the scholarships to their lives. The 2012 BCF scholarships total $200,000, thanks to several new scholarship programs established by private donors.

Ravens president Dick Casswill join Stover, who was recently inducted into the Ravens Ring of Honor, presented by Smyth Jewelers, in speaking about the Ravens' commitment to education and scholarships. The third class of Ravens Scholars was announced earlier this month, with each of the five recipients receiving a $5,000 renewable scholarship (up to $20,000 per scholar), funded by the Ravens All Community Team Foundation.
