Media Advisory - Ravens Continue To Paint the Town Purple

In an effort to encourage Baltimore residents to take part in the excitement of the Ravens' playoff run and turn their homes and businesses purple, the team is continuing to "paint the town purple."

Today, the Ravens' grounds crew painted City Hall and Federal Hill with large Ravens logos, as seen on the field at M&T Bank Stadium. With the blessing of county and city governments throughout the area, late tonight and into tomorrow morning, the organization's front office staff will continue to paint the town with black and purple spray chalk using a smaller stencil.

As Baltimoreans wake up Wednesday morning, they will find the Ravens' logo and the mantra "W.I.N." (What's Important Now) at over 100 locations in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Howard County. These locations consist of high-trafficked areas, prominent destinations, hospitals, libraries and other key landmarks such as the Inner Harbor, Cross Street Market, the Hippodrome, Dulaney High School and the Hunt Valley Town Center.

Two "golden" logos will be painted somewhere in Baltimore County and City. Fans are encouraged to take their photo in front of a golden logo and post it on the Ravens' official Facebook page. One lucky fan who posts his or her photo with the logo will win a trip for two to this Sunday's game in Kansas City. More information about the contest can be found at www.BaltimoreRavens.com/Playoffs.

Also new this year, fans will be able to purchase their own stencils for $10 through the Ravens Store at the Sports Legends Museum or at www.BaltimoreRavensStore.com. Other playoff merchandise is also available for purchase.
