Press Release - Purple and Black Friday

During the 2009 season, the Baltimore Ravens brought back Purple Fridays, and this year, they have been bigger than ever! Celebrating Purple Friday every week before home or away games, the Ravens have encouraged fans throughout Baltimore and the surrounding areas to display their pride by wearing purple to work and school on Fridays.

The Purple Friday tradition continues this week, Nov. 27, with the Purple & Black Friday edition of a full day of rallies all around Baltimore. The day will begin with a stop at Hightopps Backstage Bar and Grill for 98 Rock's Bacon and Beer. Ravens cheerleaders, Playmakers, band members, front office staff, team mascot Poe and 98 Rock staff will make several stops during their day-long, traveling caravan.

Fans are encouraged to wear their Ravens purple and come out to the various locations along the route. Each spot will include giveaways, special discounts and offers, and a raffle for an autographed piece of memorabilia.
