Press Release - Ravens Sign Safety Hamlin

After passing a physical, **S Ken Hamlin** has signed a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, executive vice president/general manager **Ozzie Newsome** announced Tuesday.

An eight-year NFL veteran, the 6-2, 208-pound Hamlin comes to Baltimore after spending the past three seasons with Dallas. Originally selected by Seattle in the second round of the 2003 Draft, he has totaled 14 interceptions for 206 return yards in 98 career games (96 starts).

Hamlin earned Pro Bowl honors with the Cowboys in 2007 when he produced career highs in tackles (102 total stops), interceptions (five) and pass deflections (14). Playing in 12 games (all starts) during the 2009 campaign, he recorded 47 tackles and four passes broken up.

Hamlin will wear No. 45 for the Ravens.
