Press Release: Ravens Sign Three Draft Picks

The Baltimore Ravens have signed three draft picks from their 2014 class, executive vice president and general manager Ozzie Newsome announced Wednesday afternoon. TE Crockett Gillmore (third round), G/C John Urschel (fifth round) and QB Keith Wenning(sixth round) all signed four-year contracts with the team. * *

Crockett Gillmore (third round)

Gilmore finished his collegiate career with 111 catches for 1,308 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while starting 36 of 37 games played. He earned first-team All-Mountain West Conference honors in 2013 and 2011.

John Urschel (fifth round)

Urschel appeared in 40 career games at Penn State, starting every contest (24) at right guard since the beginning of his junior season (2012). He recorded 21 touchdown-resulting blocks and 181 key blocks/knockdowns in his two full seasons as a starter, also serving as a team captain during his 2013 senior campaign.* *

Keith Wenning (sixth round)

Wenning set Ball State career records for touchdown passes (92), passing yards (11,402), completions (1,035) and attempts (1,642). He finished his career with the fourth-most touchdown passes and sixth-most passing yards in Mid-American Conference history.
