The Baltimore Ravens have waived T Scott Kooistra and signed G Bryan Mattison from the practice squad, executive vice president/general manager Ozzie Newsome announced Saturday afternoon.

The 6-3, 313-pound Mattison spent the entire 2009 season on Baltimore's practice squad after being placed on the Ravens' Injured Reserve list in 2008. The second-year pro from Iowa was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2008.
