The Ravens and Inside Lacrosse have created a special offer for lacrosse fans. Through an exclusive offer, fans who buy a ticket to both the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic and the Smartlink Day of Rivals at M&T Bank Stadium will save 50% on Lower Level tickets (normally $20 each) and will also receive an exclusive, one-of-a-kind "Baltimore Lacrosse"* *t-shirt while supplies last.
The package is $20 and is available online at www.BaltimoreRavens.com/lacrosse, as well as at M&T Bank Stadium during Ravens home games for the 2009 season. A display booth is located near Section 105 of the stadium to purchase tickets or to learn more about any of the lacrosse events at M&T Bank Stadium.
The "Baltimore Lacrosse" t-shirts were created with help from Baltimore-based Inside Lacrosse. Inside Lacrosse is the premier media outlet dedicated to lacrosse – the fastest-growing participant sport in the United States – helping to define the cutting edge of the sport's rapid growth. Now entering its fourth year, the event arm of Inside Lacrosse has broken new ground for the promotion of lacrosse while bringing unprecedented excitement and fan interest to college lacrosse's regular season.
"Lacrosse is important to our community, and we wanted to create an incentive for fans to attend both of these great events," said Ravens vice president of ticket sales and operations, Baker Koppelman. "We hope that lacrosse fans everywhere believe what we do – that M&T Bank Stadium and the City of Baltimore provide the premier venue for the best lacrosse events."
Since it opened in 1998, M&T Bank Stadium has played host to many major lacrosse events, including the NCAA Men's Championships (2003-04, 2007), the ACC Men's and Women's Championships (2005-06), The Face-Off Classic (2007-09), Day of Rivals (2009) and the MLL Baltimore Bayhawks (2002 season).
