Ravens CELEBRATE Kickoff TO NFL Season SEPTEMBER 6-8
To celebrate the start of the 2017 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens and Miller Lite will host Countdown to Kickoff Week Sept. 6 – 8, featuring festivities that are both ticketed and free/open to the public. The Ravens kick off regular season play on Sunday, Sept. 10, visiting the Cincinnati Bengals (1 p.m. ET).
Purple Pep Rally
On Wednesday, Sept. 6, fans can join Ravens Cheerleaders and mascot Poe at McKeldin Square from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. for a Purple Pep Rally at Harbor Market. Ravens alumni LB Brad Jackson and WR Jermaine Lewis will also be in attendance to sign autographs from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Food trucks will be available onsite, along with a DJ, Ravens giveaways, tailgate games and more.
Paint the Town Purple – Car Stenciling
On Thursday, Sept. 7, fans can help the Ravens paint the town purple by visiting M&T Bank Stadium (Lot D) between 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. to have their car stenciled with the official Ravens logo. The first 500 cars will receive a special Ravens "TOGETHER" car flag and a Ravens car magnet, courtesy of M&T Bank. Dunkin' Donuts will be also be on site with coffee samples.
Countdown to Kickoff Party
The Countdown to Kickoff Party, presented by Miller Lite on Friday, Sept. 8 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds will include appearances by current Ravens players DT Brandon Williamsand RB Terrance West, Ravens alumni K Matt Stoverand LB Brad Jackson and is highlighted by a live performance by Shinedown with special guest, Biffy Clyro. Plus, a live TV broadcast with partner WBAL will take place from 7:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Fans can also participate in fun tailgate games and activities, including a zip line, as well as meet the Ravens Cheerleaders, Playmakers, mascots and talent from 98 Rock. Hightopps Backstage Grille will have food and beer available for purchase, and beer will also be available for purchase at the Miller Lite Party Bar, which will feature happy hour pricing from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. Tickets to the event are $15 in advance at BaltimoreRavens.com/Kickoff and $25 at the door. The event is open to all ages.
Week of Winning
Ravens fans who cannot make it to the events are encouraged to participate in Week of Winning, presented by Dunkin Donuts. The contest opened on Monday, Sept. 4 and offers daily prizes all week such as free Dunkin Donuts coffee for a year, autographed Ravens memorabilia and Ravens game tickets.
