Ravens Host 11th Annual All Community Team Auction Party Monday (12/5)

The Baltimore Ravens will host the 11th annual All Community Team Auction Party, presented by Miller Lite, at M&T Bank Stadium (North Club) this Monday (12/5). The sold-out event, which will feature a Monday Night Football theme, begins at 6:00 p.m. and features light fare along with interactive stations (cornhole, Madden NFL 12 and holiday card signing for troops overseas) and silent and live auctions. Ravens players with foundations (see list below) will be on hand to meet with more than 600 guests and participate in the live auction at 8:15 p.m.

Title sponsor, M&T Bank, joins additional Baltimore corporations to form the All Community Team (ACT), which provides financial and volunteer support to many Ravens community service projects. Through a wide variety of activities and events, the ACT makes a positive impact in the Maryland area while strengthening ties between the Ravens, its partners and the community. In 2011, ACT members took part in a bike build and distribution to a local Police Athletic League, supported the Ravens Family Food & Funds Drive and volunteered at the KaBOOM! Playground Build in Reservoir Hill.

Proceeds from the Auction Party benefit the Ravens' charitable arm, the Ravens All Community Team Foundation. The foundation is committed to improving, encouraging and enabling the healthy development of youth in the Baltimore area, as well as other parts of the state of Maryland. The foundation focuses on programs that help youth, and in some cases their families, with various needs, including housing, hunger, education, athletics and mentoring.

Recent foundation projects include a youth football grant (apparel and equipment), the Ravens Scholarship Program, which provides $5,000 renewable college scholarships to Baltimore-area students, and the Plan in Motion grant program, which supports nonprofits that promote physical fitness and nutrition education among youth with close to $100,000 in funding annually.
