Ravens Sign Cornerback Chris Greenwood

Baltimore filled its final 53-man roster spot Wednesday afternoon, signing cornerback Chris Greenwood off the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad.

Greenwood was a fifth-round pick of the Detroit Lions in 2012. The 6-foot-1, 193-pound Albion product has played in three regular-season games (all last season with Detroit) and made six tackles.

Greenwood also spent a month with the Dallas Cowboys last year. He returned to Detroit after being released, but did not make it's 53-man roster coming out of training camp this summer. The Vikings signed him to their practice squad.

He steps in after the Ravens placed cornerback Asa Jackson (knee) and safety Terrence Brooks (knee) on injured reserve.

Greenwood joins a cornerbacks corps made up of Lardarius Webb, Anthony Levine, Rashaan Melvin and Antoine Cason.

Greenwood is the 13th cornerback the Ravens have had on the 53-man roster this season.
