Ravens rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro was reportedly arrested near his Virginia hometown on Saturday, reports The Virginia Gazette.

The fourth-round pick out of Coastal Carolina has reportedly been charged with destruction of property and being drunk in public, both misdemeanor charges.

According to Maj. Greg Riley of the Williamsburg (Va.) Police Department, Taliaferro broke the window of a cab driver's car at about 1:15 a.m.

"We're aware of the situation and have discussed it with Lorenzo," the teams said in a statement. "He will have his due process and the opportunity to talk about what happened."
