The Caw: Dennis Pitta's Nickname Is Wrong

I'm somewhat thankful this never dawned on me before. Maybe I'm not a slave to T.V. commercials like I had previously thought.

But Dennis Pitta's nickname "American Express" is just flat out wrong. Sorry Sizz.

The nickname was given by Terrell Suggs, who would tell sideline cameras and teammates that Pitta was "American Express – he's everywhere you want to be."

Only issue is that's Visa's slogan, not American Express.

Good thing Suggs also gave Pitta another nickname – "The White Tight End."

That one's not quite as clever, and could really apply to so many tight ends including Billy Bajema last year or Matt Furstenberg this season, but if we're looking for accuracy, it's spot on.

I'll stop being nitpicky and just let you watch this Top 100 video of Pitta:
