Ravens Are Named a Top Destination for Tyreek Hill

The Ravens are being linked to yet another star wide receiver.

In recent weeks, Baltimore was named a potential destination for A.J. Brown if the Philadelphia Eagles put him on the trade block. Now, the Ravens are being mentioned as a prime landing spot for five-time All-Pro Tyreek Hill, who was released by the Miami Dolphins on Monday.

USA Today’s Ayrton Ostly said that "Baltimore just feels right" as a destination for Hill, noting that the Ravens have a history of signing big-name receivers in the latter stages of their careers.

"Hill could ease in without shouldering much of the receiving load," Ostly wrote. "Rashod Bateman and Zay Flowers are both producing well and he could start out in a WR3 role before building up to something bigger."

Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton also thinks Hill signing with the Ravens makes sense.

"Last offseason, Hill provided his thoughts on the league's top five quarterbacks. Although Hill didn't list them in any particular order, he mentioned Lamar Jackson's name first," Moton wrote. "Hill respects Jackson's game. The two could work together for a couple of years to expand Baltimore's deep passing attack."

Moton added that the Ravens could be active on the receiver free-agent market, especially if they don't re-sign wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and tight end Isaiah Likely.

Signing Hill, who turns 32 in a couple weeks, does not come without risk. He is rehabbing from a major leg injury that limited him to four games this past season, and it's unclear when or if he'll play in 2026, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

In 2024, Hill had a subpar season by his standards, as he caught 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns.

Could Anthony Weaver's Presence Help Ravens Land Bradley Chubb?

Hill is not the only decorated veteran leaving Miami. The Dolphins reportedly are also releasing edge rusher Bradley Chubb, who could potentially be designated as a post-June 1 cut for bigger cap savings, per Pelissero.

The Ravens are expected to be in the market for an edge rusher, and Sports Illustrated’s Anthony Miller said that new Defensive Coordinator Anthony Weaver's history with Chubb could make Baltimore an attractive landing spot for the two-time Pro Bowler. Weaver was the Dolphin's defensive coordinator the past two seasons.

Chubb missed the entire 2024 season after suffering a torn ACL against the Ravens in Week 17 of the 2023 season. Playing under Weaver in 2025, Chubb had 8.5 sacks, 20 quarterback hits, and eight tackles for loss.

"Baltimore is desperate for a pass rusher and needs to find a way to get someone in there who can produce more than the Ravens' leader from last year, Travis Jones, with his five," Miller wrote. "Chubb might be the perfect option, combining affordability with productivity.

"One slight concern could be that Chubb will be 30 by the time the new season starts. The massive benefit for him, though, is that he knows Weaver and what his expectations are as an edge rusher, even if the play calls and system are more of new Ravens Head Coach Jesse Minter's."

Miller added that Chubb would be a much more affordable option than All-Pro edge rushers Trey Hendrickson, a pending free agent, and Maxx Crosby, who could be on the trade block.

Pundit Says It Makes Sense for Ravens to Trade for DJ Moore if He Is Available

Speculation about the Ravens being in the mix for prominent players makes for good copy, so let's keep it going.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore has been the subject of trade rumors, and CBS Sports' John Breech said the Ravens are a logical fit.

"If you're Baltimore, this makes sense, because you're thinking, 'Look, we know we have one receiver in Zay Flowers,' but they don't really have anyone behind that," Breech said on “CBS Sports HQ.” "... [There's] one other reason this could make a little bit of sense for Baltimore. Let's not forget who their offensive coordinator is: Declan Doyle, who was the OC in Chicago last season. So he has already worked with D.J. Moore for a year. Maybe Moore would be up for a reunion in Baltimore."

The 28-year-old Moore, a 2018 first-round pick out of Maryland, has had four seasons with more than 1,000 receiving yards. His best season was in 2023, when he had 96 catches for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns.

Moore's productivity dipped this past season, as he finished with 50 receptions for 682 yards – both career lows – and six touchdowns.

Ravens Crack Top 10 in Offseason Resource Rankings

NFL.com researcher Zak Koeppel ranked all 32 teams based on the amount of resources they have to improve this offseason via veteran and rookie acquisitions. Koeppel did so by combining 2026 cap space and 2026 draft capital.

The Ravens came in at No. 10 overall, ranking 17th in cap space and 10th in draft capital.

"The Ravens have the 14th overall pick in the draft, the same selection they had following their other non-playoff season with Jackson," Koeppel wrote. "With that pick in 2022, they selected Kyle Hamilton, who has already been selected to three Pro Bowls and earned a pair of first-team All-Pro honors. The upcoming draft presents a perfect opportunity for Baltimore to add a new difference-maker for new Head Coach Jesse Minter.

"On the cap-space side, the Ravens rank around the middle of the league with $22 million available to them. However, as General Manager Eric DeCosta alluded to in January, the team is already in discussions with Jackson about an extension that would lower his $74.5 million cap hit for 2026. The Ravens will need the extra space, as a number of key starters (including center Tyler Linderbaum, guard Daniel Faalele and safety Alohi Gilman) are scheduled to be free agents come March."

Three of the teams ranked ahead of the Ravens reside in the AFC North: the Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 4), Cincinnati Bengals (No. 7), and Cleveland Browns (tied for No. 8).
