Who's Still Out There?

Free agency is on to the next wave.

The big-named, high-priced players have long been scooped up. Even some of the bargains have been had. Now it's time for the deep discounts.

Anticipation of the draft is heating up, but there are still some quality veteran free agents on the market. The Ravens could look to address a position before the draft, eliminating an obvious need.

Here's who's still out there:

OT Andre Smith, Cincinnati Bengals
Unrestricted (5th season); 26, 6-foot-4, 335 pounds
2012: 16 starts
The prevailing thought is that Smith will return to the Bengals. But it hasn't happened yet. Smith was the sixth-overall draft pick in 2009. The Alabama product was a slow starter, due to weight and injury issues, and he started just five games in his first two years. But he has rounded into a top tackle the past two years.

ILB Rolando McClain, Oakland Raiders
Unrestricted (4th season); 23, 6-4, 259
2012: 9 starts, 62 tackles, 1 sack
A former eighth-overall pick out of Alabama in 2010, McClain was a blue-chip prospect not long ago. But he's had plenty of issues in Oakland since then, leading to his release on Friday. McClain was reportedly kicked out of practice on Nov. 29. He was arrested in 2011 and charged with third-degree assault among others. He was found guilty on all counts, but reached a financial settlement with the victim.

DB Kerry Rhodes, Arizona Cardinals
Unrestricted (8th season); 30, 6-3, 212
2012: 15 starts, 67 tackles, 1 sack, 4 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles
Rhodes has been a longtime starter. He became an immediate starter as a rookie and went on to start 80 of 82 games as a New York Jet. He continued that as an Arizona Cardinal. Rhodes had another strong 2012, but was released for salary cap reasons as he was due $4.5 million and $1.5 in bonuses.

ILB Karlos Dansby, Miami Dolphins
Unrestricted (10th season); 31, 6-4, 250
2012: 16 starts, 134 tackles, 1 sack, 9 pass deflections
Dansby was released by the Dolphins when they acquired former Raven Dannell Ellerbe. Dansby arguably had one of his best seasons, recording a career-high 134 tackles and showing his pass-coverage skills with nine deflections. Dansby was considered one of the league's top linebackers when he came to Miami in 2010. He's shown an ability to blitz with eight sacks in 2006 with Arizona.

OT Eric Winston, Kansas City Chiefs
Unrestricted (8th season); 29, 6-7, 302
2012: 16 starts
Winston was released by the Chiefs this offseason after just one year with the team. The right tackle was reportedly a target last offseason when the Ravens were also in the tackle market. He's a mobile, big blocker who spent six years in Houston's zone stretch run scheme, similar to the Ravens'. The former third-round pick is considered one of the top remaining unsigned free agents.

WR Brandon Lloyd, New England Patriots
Unrestricted (11th season); 31, 6-0, 200
2012: 15 starts, 74 receptions, 911 yards, 4 touchdowns
Lloyd has bounced around as a pro. He's played on six teams in his 10 seasons, and was cut by New England after just one season. Lloyd is a deep threat who can put up some big performances. He logged 1,448 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2010. But he's also had injury problems and quiet stretches. The Patriots could look to re-sign him at a lower price.
