Popular U.S. Band American Authors to Perform at Halftime

This Sunday (Jan. 6), when the Baltimore Ravens host the Los Angeles Chargers for a Wild Card playoff at M&T Bank Stadium (1:05 p.m. kickoff), fans will be able to enjoy the following festivities:

INTRODUCTIONS

Players from the Ravens' No. 1-ranked defense will be introduced.

SURPRISE LEGEND OF THE GAME

The Ravens will honor a special Legend of the Game after the national anthem, which will be performed by the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets.

HONORARY CAPTAIN: ED REED

2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist S Ed Reed will serve as the game's honorary captain. One of the NFL's all-time greatest playmakers, Reed earned eight Pro Bowls in Baltimore and racked up 61 interceptions for 1,541 return yards and seven touchdowns (all franchise records).

AMERICAN AUTHORS HALFTIME PERFORMANCE

The popular band American Authors will perform at halftime. The band is perhaps best known for its song "Best Day of My Life," which earned a triple-platinum certification from the RIAA and vaulted to No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, in addition to receiving countless film, television, video game and sports syncs. The band's 2014 full-length debut, Oh, What A Life, achieved gold status, while the follow-up What We Live For, spawned another Top 20 hit, "Go Big or Go Home," in 2016. Along the way, the band sold out shows around the globe and ignited stages at festivals, including Lollapalooza, Firefly Music Festival, BottleRock Napa Valley, Reading Festival, and Leeds Festival.\
