Haloti Ngata Injury Not Serious

Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata should be back without any issues next year.

Ngata injured his knee in the third quarter when Alex Boone hit him during a 6-yard touchdown run by Frank Gore. Ngata laid on the turf for a while and did not return.

His agent reported that he had an MRI Thursday morning, and Head Coach John Harbaugh said there's no significant damage.

"Nothing serious with Haloti," Harbaugh said. "There are some things in there we'll just have to see. It won't be anything that should keep him out of training camp or anything like that."

Another injury to monitor this offseason is linebacker Jameel McClain (spinal cord contusion). McClain was knocked out in Week 14 and eventually placed  on injured reserve.

"We're still looking at Jameel," Harbaugh said. "I'm very optimistic based on what Ozzie shared with us yesterday."
