Rookie linebacker Jay Higgins IV has been activated from injured reserve to the 53-man roster, setting the stage for him to return Saturday night against the Green Bay Packers.
Higgins last played on Nov. 9 against the Minnesota Vikings, when he suffered a knee injury. He has practiced for the past two weeks.
Higgins has six tackles and one forced fumble in nine games, playing all his snaps so far on special teams.
The Ravens are a bit thinner at inside linebacker now with the season-ending knee injury to Teddye Buchanan, so Higgins could see some defensive action in Lambeau Field.
Baltimore didn't make any elevations from the practice squad before facing the Packers.
