Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh smiled wide when first asked about the coaches' postgame handshake after Sunday's Ravens-Steelers slugfest.
The handshake has been dissected and listened to, with varied opinions.
On Monday afternoon, Harbaugh downplayed the whole thing.
He said he hoped Tomlin, who pulled his hand away quickly and seemingly paying Harbaugh little attention, accepted his congratulations.
"Nothing uncomfortable at all," he said. "I thought Mike did a terrific job preparing his team. Obviously, they played very well, and I made a point to congratulate him on that. Hopefully he accepted that. It was all good."
Harbaugh was asked whether there is sometimes drama in the handshake because some coaches want to talk a bit and others want to high-tail it off the field.
"I really don't know about the handshake agendas," Harbaugh said with a chuckle. "I felt fine about it. It was fine. I just wanted to make sure he knew that we congratulated him and that was it."
