The John Harbaugh-to-USC rumor had a shelf life of about 24 hours.

Sports radio host Dan Patrick said on his show Thursday that Harbaugh was "high on USC’s short list" to become the team's next football coach, Harbaugh squashed that notion Friday.

Harbaugh was asked whether he has been contacted by USC and if he would have any interest in the job.

"No, no. Obviously, no," Harbaugh answered. "This is what I'm doing. I love the Ravens, love being here, and it's not a consideration."

USC's head coaching job opened last week after the school fired Steve Sarkisian.

Harbaugh has spent the last 18 years coaching the NFL and is in his eighth season as Baltimore's head coach. He's one of the most successful coaches in the NFL, having won a Super Bowl and made the playoffs in six out of the last seven years.
