John Harbaugh took out a full-page ad in The Baltimore Sun to thank fans after 18 years as the Ravens' head coach.

Harbaugh thanked the Ravens during his introduction this week as the new head coach of the New York Giants, but he elaborated on that in his heartfelt letter.

"When Ingrid, Alison and I arrived in Baltimore, we knew that we were joining a football organization. What we couldn't have fully known then was that we were becoming part of a city, a culture, and a community that is bonded together by a shared sense of strength and unity," Harbaugh wrote.

The Ravens went to the playoffs in 12 of Harbaugh's 18 seasons and won Super Bowl XLVII.

Now Baltimore has a new head coach, Jesse Minter, that has learned from both Harbaugh brothers and will try to get the Ravens over the top and back in the Super Bowl.
