Update on Lamar Jackson's Back Injury

Lamar Jackson is day-to-day with a "significant" contusion on his back, Head Coach John Harbaugh said Monday.

After taking a knee to the back from a Patriots defender while going down to the ground, Jackson exited the Ravens' 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots shortly before halftime and did not return. Tyler Huntley played the rest of the game.

Jackson had an MRI Monday and Harbaugh said it didn't reveal any other damage. Harbaugh said he saw Jackson getting treatment early Monday morning at the Under Armour Performance Center.

"Nothing beyond the contusion, but I don't want to minimize the severity and pain level of that because it's legit," Harbaugh said.

Harbaugh said he didn't think the hit Patriots safety Craig Woodson put on Jackson was malicious.

The Ravens are on a short week before facing the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night at Lambeau Field. Baltimore must win to preserve any chance of making the playoffs.

The Packers are also dealing with quarterback injury questions, as Jordan Love left their loss Saturday with a concussion and is in the protocol. Backup quarterback Malik Willis is dealing with a shoulder injury. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that at least one of them should be able to play Saturday.

The Ravens' other injury coming out of Sunday's game was to left guard Andrew Vorhees, who left early with a foot injury that Harbaugh classified Monday as day-to-day. Vorhees was replaced by rookie Emery Jones Jr.

"I thought Emery played OK," Harbaugh said. "There's going to be plays that he wants back from a pass protection standpoint. He competed, he's tough. He looked like a young player, but he looked like a good, talented young player."
