Lamar Jackson was not participating in the early portion of Wednesday's practice that was open to the media.
The two-time MVP quarterback did not play in the second half on Sunday after suffering an ankle injury during Baltimore's 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
Jackson has only an "outside chance" to play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, according to Ian Rapoport of ESPN/NFL Network.
Tyler Huntley, who played the second half against the Titans in place of Jackson, was joined on the practice field by third-string rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano.
Other Ravens who were not participating at the beginning of practice included cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf), left tackle Ronnie Stanley (toe), wide receiver Rashod Bateman, outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson (finger), defensive lineman Calais Campbell, and guard Andrew Vorhees (foot).
Hendrickson, who had a finger procedure last week and missed the Titans game, was working out on an adjacent field. The 40-year-old Campbell has been taking Wednesday practice days off.
