Our Twitter followers are in store for a treat this weekend.

We have decided to hand over the keys – well, technically the password – to our Twitter account to 18-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps (@MichaelPhelps) for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Baltimore native and long-time Ravens fanwill be in attendance at M&T Bank Stadium, and he'll share his perspective with fans on the @Ravens Twitter account. This will be the first time the Ravens have ever done a Twitter takeover.

"This will be a great chance for our fans to use social media to interact with one of our most passionate and well known supporters," said Ravens Vice President of Digital Media Michelle Andres. "Michael Phelps has been a great Ravens follower, and we're excited for fans to experience the game through his eyes on Twitter."

Phelps consistently has a presence at home games and also occasionally comes out to practice during training camp. The Ravens have also supported Phelps throughout his career, as he was officially honored during pre-game introductions after historic performances at the Olympics in 2008 and 2012.

He will take over the Twitter controls before the game and his tweets will be marked with "-MP."  Follow @Ravens to ask Phelps any questions and also to stay up-to-date on the game with his unique perspective.

Note: You do not have to have a Twitter account to follow @Ravens.You can also view his tweets streamed onto the Ravens game center website page or in the Ravens mobile app on Sunday.
