The AFC North was very active during the first wave of free agency signings and trades.
Here is the latest on the Ravens' rivals:
Pittsburgh Steelers: Will Steelers Still Add Another Wide Receiver After Michael Pittman Jr. Trade?
Michael Pittman Jr. is eager to get his hands dirty as one of the new members of the AFC North.
At his introductory press conference, Pittman said he was "fired up" to play for the Steelers after being traded from the Colts last week, calling the Steelers tough, smashmouth, and gritty.
"I love going out there and being tough and playing that brand of football," Pittman said via Teresa Varley of Steelers.com. "I feel like I fit in well here with that bully-ball mentality they have here, which they've had for as long as I can remember. I feel like it fits me perfectly."
The Steelers acquired Pittman from the Colts for a late-round pick swap last week, giving Pittsburgh another receiver opposite DK Metcalf. Pittman finished last season with 784 yards and seven touchdowns on a team-high 80 catches. The 28-year-old receiver has two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt after spending his first six seasons in Indianapolis.
Pittsburgh could add more weapons to its receiver room after losing Calvin Austin and running back Kenneth Gainwell, who combined for 104 catches for 858 yards and three touchdowns. The Steelers did add Rico Dowdle to their running back room, signing the former Carolina Panther to a two-year deal. Dowdle had 1,076 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 4.6 yards per carry last year.
Meanwhile, as Aaron Rodgers continues to contemplate his future, Pittman is excited to work with whoever is under center.
"I know that he's still thinking about it," Pittman said of Rodgers' potential return via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. "But we also have two really good quarterbacks here in Mason [Rudolph] and Will [Howard]. So whatever ends up turning out, just like I think we'll have a good plan offensively, and we will make the most out of it."
Cincinnati Bengals: New Defensive Additions Believe Team Will Bounce Back
The Bengals know their defense needs to turn things around to return to the playoffs, and new defensive tackle Jonathan Allen sees that mission becoming reality in 2026.
"This is one of the few places I can compete for a Super Bowl and have a chance to showcase my talent," Allen said via Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. "When you see what they have on the offensive side of the ball, that's a dream for a defensive lineman. I think people would be lining up to play with a guy like Joe Burrow and the offense they have. Then the young guys you have on defense and the pieces you're adding, I really think this team is going somewhere."
Allen inked a two-year deal with the Bengals after being released by the Vikings one year into his three-year deal. The former first-round pick had 68 tackles and 3.5 sacks in Minnesota last season.
The Bengals also signed pass rusher Boye Mafe following Trey Hendrickson's departure to Baltimore.
Mafe, who is coming off a Super Bowl win with the Seattle Seahawks, liked what he heard about what his new coaches have planned for him. He wants to hoist another Lombardi Trophy, and he believes the pieces are in place for Cincinnati to make a run at it.
"I've been called on for the pass rush and to help us elevate the defense," Mafe said.
Cleveland Browns: Offensive Line Rebuild Takes Shape After Flurry of Moves
The Browns set out to retool their offensive line this offseason, and they were very active in free agency to do so.
The Browns signed center/guard Elgton Jenkins, guard Zion Johnson, guard Teven Jenkins, and traded for tackle Tytus Howard.
A former second-round pick, Jenkins spent the first seven years of his career with the Green Bay Packers and played left guard, left tackle, right tackle, and center. He'll now play for Head Coach Todd Monken and Offensive Line Coach George Warhop, both of whom came from the Ravens this offseason.
"I feel like it was a perfect place for me to be, especially trying to just work on my game," Jenkins said via Kelsey Russo of ClevelandBrowns.com. "Just being able to play together again and build this offensive line and take us to where we want to go. [Howard] was very enthusiastic about us moving forward, so I was on board and we're here now."
Johnson, who primarily played left guard with the Chargers for the past three seasons, said he is prepared to play at either guard spot.
"Looking from the outside in, this team has a lot of good pieces and a lot of talented players," Johnson said. "And having the opportunity to come here and just seeing the pieces that we have, and the other veterans that have come in on the offensive line as well, I just feel really good about our room. I think that we have the potential to be something very special."
