Daniel Faalele has found a new home with a familiar leader.

Faalele will become the fifth former Ravens player to join John Harbaugh in New York. According to multiple reports, Faalele will sign a one-year deal.

Faalele started every game at right guard for the Ravens over the past two seasons. However, he didn't show enough consistency as a blocker, particularly in pass protection, which led to numerous quick pressures on Lamar Jackson.

Looking to upgrade their offensive line this offseason, the Ravens signed John Simpson in the early days of free agency. Emery Jones Jr. and Andrew Vorhees are the top candidates to start at right guard, though Baltimore could make an early draft selection to fill Faalele's spot. Penn State's Vega Ioane is a popular mock draft pick.

In New York, Faalele will have a chance to compete for a starting job with a coach who knows him well. The Giants also recently signed veteran guard/center Lucas Patrick.

Faalele joins tight end Isaiah Likely, punter Jordan Stout, safety Ar'Darius Washington, and fullback Patrick Ricard in the Big Apple.

Ravens in 'Constant Communication' With Nnamdi Madubuike

The future of Nnamdi Madubuike remains a mystery, but the Ravens are closely monitoring their star defensive tackle's progress.

Ravens Director of Strength & Conditioning Scott Elliott did not divulge whether Madubuike is currently with the team but said he's in "constant communication" with him.

"I will tell you that 'Beeks' is working his tail off, and as I'm sure you've seen online, he is in great shape," Elliott said.

Sidelined since early last season with a neck injury, Madubuike has been posting encouraging videos on social media of his workouts.

At League Meetings last week, Head Coach Jesse Minter said Madubuike's status for 2026 was "to be determined" and that there's no hard timeline.

"I know that he's in a great place mentally. He's doing a lot of stuff," Minter said. "We certainly – as an organization – you certainly have Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, Plan D, and all the way down the line. And so, we'll be excited whichever way that goes."

Mark Andrews Sees 'A Lot of Opportunities' in New Offense

It has been an offseason of change in Baltimore and no specific position group felt it more than tight end.

After the free agency departures of Likely and Charlie Kolar (Chargers), Mark Andrews is the lone returner in the group and is ready to carry the load.

"[I have] always felt like that [No. 1] guy. I don't think that ever changes," Andrews said.

"But I think that for [Likely], I'm excited for him and his opportunity. I'm excited for Charlie and his opportunity. I'm going to continue to get better and grow my game, and I think there's going to be a lot of opportunities in this offense."

Andrews said he was excited to see Likely and Kolar get handsome contracts, saying they "put in the work and they saw the reward."

The Ravens also have a new tight ends coach in Zack Grossi, and have signed veteran Durham Smythe, who is mostly known for his blocking prowess.

"I'm excited about this room," Andrews said. "I'm excited about Coach Grossi. He's been awesome. Durham has been awesome. I'm excited about that. And then having Lucas [Scott] in the room. So, we're going to have a great room."
