Former Ravens will be a big part of the conversation on who is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Terrell Suggs, Marshal Yanda, and Haloti Ngata are all part of the 52 modern-era candidates who advanced to the next round of voting, as announced Wednesday.
The group also includes several players who were not drafted by Baltimore but suited up in purple: Anquan Boldin, Steve Smith Sr., Willie Anderson, and Earl Thomas.
Suggs and Yanda were both among the 15 finalists in last year’s class but fell short of enshrinement on their first year on the ballot.
Suggs is a seven-time Pro Bowler, the 2011 Defensive Player of the Year, and a two-time Super Bowl champion. Suggs finished his 17-year career with 139 sacks, which ranks eighth all-time and is three more than Jared Allen, who was enshrined in last year's Hall of Fame class.
Yanda is an eight-time Pro Bowler, part of the 2010s NFL All-Decade Team, and a Super Bowl champion.
