Will the Ravens need their passports in 2026?

There are now two possibilities for the Ravens to play internationally this upcoming season.

On Thursday night, the Dallas Cowboys were announced as one team to play in the first game in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro. The Ravens are slated to face the Cowboys on the road this year, so that would be a potential fit.

This will be the third straight year the NFL will have a regular-season game in Brazil, though the first two were played in Sao Paulo.

Another Ravens 2026 road foe, the Atlanta Falcons will be the host for an international game at a location to be determined, as announced in December.

The Falcons have international marketing rights in Germany as part of the NFL's Global Markets Program, though that doesn't guarantee it's where they will play.

The NFL will play nine international games in 2026 as it continues to expand its global footprint.

"We know that there is a large demand for the Ravens generally, and Lamar [Jackson], and the growth internationally is something that we embrace fully," President Sashi Brown said last March.

The Ravens last played abroad in 2023 in London, where they beat the Tennessee Titans, 24-16. Previous to that, they played again in London in 2017 in a lopsided loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
