The NFL has fined the Ravens $100,000 for violating the league's Injury Report Policy by incorrectly listing Lamar Jackson's practice participation status on Oct. 24.

The league believes the violation was not an attempt to gain a competitive advantage, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Ravens announced that they will not appeal the ruling.

"It is critical that the Baltimore Ravens always operate with integrity and in full accordance with NFL guidelines," the Ravens said in a statement. "We clearly made an error regarding player injury reporting and cooperated transparently with the league's investigation. We accept the decision by the NFL that we violated the policy and have taken steps to ensure that we will be compliant moving forward."

Jackson was a limited practice participant on Wednesday and Thursday last week as he came back from his hamstring injury. He was originally listed as a full participant on Friday because he participated in the entire practice, but did so while running the scout team.

The rule is that a player who would normally take starting reps but is medically unable to do so and instead works with the scout team must be designated as limited.

Upon realizing the mistake, the Ravens corrected Jackson's injury designation on Saturday, making him a limited participant and ruling him out of the game against the Chicago Bears.
