The Ravens have signed veteran running back Myles Gaskin.
The 28-year-old Gaskin has rushed for 1,354 yards and seven touchdowns over six seasons with the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, and Minnesota Vikings. His best season was 2021 with the Dolphins when he rushed for 612 yards and two touchdowns. Last season, Gaskin appeared in five games with the Vikings and rushed for three yards on five carries.
In a corresponding move, the Ravens placed sixth-round rookie cornerback Robert Longerbeam on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Third-year running back Keaton Mitchell did not practice Saturday, while undrafted rookie back Marcus Major Jr. (concussion) was wearing a red no-contact jersey during Saturday's session. Veteran running backs Derrick Henry and Justice Hill are not expected to play much, if at all, during the preseason.
