Ravens Elevate Veteran Defensive Tackle From Practice Squad

The Ravens have elevated veteran defensive tackle Taven Bryan and undrafted rookie safety Keondre Jackson for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Bryan, a former first-round pick in 2018, is in his eighth season, and it will be his first game action this season after signing to the practice squad on Sept. 24. He has played in 113 games and made 46 career starts.

The Ravens may be looking for extra defensive linemen against a Bears offense that has been running the ball well, especially lately.

The Bears rank eighth in the NFL in rushing yards per game (129.3) and ran for 222 yards last week against the New Orleans Saints. Running back D'Andre Swift, who is questionable to play, has topped 100 rushing yards in back-to-back games.

Jackson played against the Los Angeles Rams in the Ravens' last game and made one tackle.

Wide receiver Colton Dowell has been terminated from the practice squad.
