Training Camp Competition: Offensive Line

As Ravens training camp approaches, we'll look at six of the top position group competitions: wide receiver, offensive line, outside linebacker, cornerback, safety, and kicker.

In the Hunt

  • Corey Bullock
  • Ben Cleveland
  • Darrian Dalcourt
  • Garrett Dellinger
  • Daniel Faalele
  • Emery Jones Jr.
  • Tyler Linderbaum
  • Joseph Noteboom
  • Roger Rosengarten
  • Nick Samac
  • Ronnie Stanley
  • Carson Vinson
  • Andrew Vorhees
  • Reid Holskey (undrafted rookie)
  • Ozzie Hutchinson (undrafted rookie)
  • Gerad Lichtenhan (undrafted rookie)
  • Jared Penning (undrafted rookie)

Projected Starters

Linderbaum (center) and Stanley (left tackle) are coming off Pro Bowl seasons and lead an offensive line that returns largely intact. Rosengarten started as a rookie right tackle in 2024 and kept improving as the season progressed. If Linderbaum, Stanley, and Rosengarten stay healthy, Baltimore has the nucleus to field one of the NFL’s top offensive lines.

Faalele was named a Pro Bowl alternate in his first season as the starting right guard and is an ascending player. Vorhees is expected to regain the starting left guard spot after losing it early last year following an ankle injury.

Best Battle

The most high-profile competition is at left guard, where Vorhees is competing with Cleveland for the starting job. While Vorhees is the favorite, he has to win it.

The Ravens usually keep nine or 10 offensive linemen. Noteboom's value as a swing tackle makes him an expected roster lock. Cleveland has four years of experience and versatility, which helps his case as a backup even if he's not the starting left guard.

Third-round pick Jones has been sidelined (shoulder), and his return date is uncertain. If he returns during training camp, he would take an eighth roster spot.

That would leave one or two more offensive line spots for several blockers. Day 3 picks Vinson and Dellinger face a battle to make the roster, and the same is true for Samac and the undrafted rookies. The backup center job is one to watch.

Under the Radar

Noteboom could become a very important free agent signing if he's forced to fill in for Stanley or Rosengarten.

Versatile veterans Patrick Mekari (Jacksonville Jaguars) and Josh Jones (Seattle Seahawks) both departed in free agency. Noteboom has played both tackle and guard in 71 career games with the Los Angeles Rams, including 35 starts. Entering his eighth season, Noteboom is Baltimore's second-most experienced offensive lineman behind Stanley.
