Joe Flacco Moved On From Broncos Interception

The last time the Ravens matched up with the Denver Broncos this season, quarterback Joe Flacco threw a key interception that was returned for a touchdown just before halftime.

The miscue came at a critical point of the game, as the Ravens were threatening to score and had a chance to cut Denver's lead to 10-7. Instead, the pick six was a 14-point swing that gave the Broncos a 17-0 lead going into the locker room, which proved to be the turning point of the game.

As the Ravens prepare for this week's rematch with the Broncos, Flacco said that the he's not thinking about that play.

"That's not in my mind at all going up to Denver this week," Flacco said.

Flacco was criticized for the play, and also for laying on the turf after he nearly chased down cornerback Chris Harris to prevent the touchdown return. The image of Flacco lying on the turf prompted the term “Flaccoing,” which went viral online.

"It stuck with me a couple minutes, and then I moved on and went out there and played some more snaps," Flacco said Tuesday. "And then when we lost, it stuck with me for a couple minutes again, and then we started getting ready for the next game and we went out and won it."

Flacco bounced right back after the loss to Denver and responded with one of his best games of the season the next week against the Giants, throwing for 309 yards and two touchdowns.

Flacco and the Ravens are hoping for a similar bounce-back effort this week against the Broncos.

"Stuff like that happens sometimes, and believe me, I'm the last guy that wants it to happen, but you've got to go out there and keep your head up, and play the game, and I think I did a great job of rebounding from that and I think our whole team did. That's why we are where we are right now,"  Flacco said. "We feel confident, and I think we should."
