Justin Tucker keeps finding new ways to outdo himself.

For the 11th time in his career, Tucker has being named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after going 3-for-3 on field goals Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Those kicks, along with two extra points, allowed Tucker to become the fastest kicker ever to reach 1,000 career points, doing so in just 118 games. Stephen Gostkowski held the previous record at 119 games.

It's the first time Tucker has ever won the special teams player of the week award in back-to-back weeks. He also captured the honor Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, making four field goals in that game, including a 48-yarder to force overtime and a 46-yarder to win the game.

Tucker has yet to miss a kick this season – 13 for 13 on field goals, 17 for 17 on extra points. He is the most accurate kicker in NFL history, having made 250 of 276 career attempts (90.6 percent). Against the Bengals, Tucker connected from 40 yards, 49 yards, and 21 yards to help Baltimore to a 23-17 victory.

Tucker credits long snapper Morgan Cox and holder Sam Koch for the consistency and teamwork that helps him perform coolly under pressure. But Tucker's reliability gives the Ravens a weapon many teams envy, a kicker with impressive range who can be counted on in any situation. For Tucker, making kicks and winning awards have become impressive habits.
