It's tough to quantify how much Kyle Hamilton means to the Ravens' defense. For that reason, he has been voted as the team's MVP of the 2025 season by local reporters.

No player in the NFL wears more hats than Hamilton, who has become the focal point of opposing offenses when facing the Ravens.

In 15 games, Hamilton has 96 tackles, eight passes defensed, seven tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and one sack. While no column in his stat sheet jumps out, it's Hamilton's cumulative impact that makes him so valuable.

Hamilton has played 241 snaps at slot cornerback, 215 snaps at high safety, 200 snaps at outside linebacker, 139 snaps at EDGE, 55 snaps at middle linebacker, 38 snaps at interior defensive line, and 33 snaps at outside cornerback.

His move closer to the line of scrimmage midway through the season, after the arrival of Alohi Gilman, changed the Ravens' defense for the better. After that move, the Ravens won five of their next six games.

Hamilton was also named the Ravens' Media Good Guy, as also voted on by local reporters. It's his second time winning the honor, which recognizes players who regularly make themselves available to talk to reporters and provide insight on the team.

"Good guy, good player. I like to hold myself to that standard," Hamilton said. "It's cool being recognized by my peers as such, and that is something I don't take lightly."
