The Ravens have placed running back Justice Hill and defensive tackle Taven Bryan on injured reserve.
Hill was added to the injury report on Tuesday with a neck issue. He didn't practice Tuesday or Wednesday and was ruled out for Thanksgiving night against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hill has been an important part of the Ravens' third-down operation. He has 21 catches on 27 targets for 169 yards and one touchdown. Hill has 18 carries and two touchdowns on the ground.
With Hill out, Keaton Mitchell should have an expanded role as Derrick Henry's backup. Mitchell leads all Ravens with 5.8 yards per carry and has five catches on six targets.
Bryan's move to injured reserve was expected after he suffered a knee injury in last week's game against the New York Jets.
The Ravens have also elevated defensive end Carl Lawson and linebacker Chandler Martin to play against the Bengals.
Lawson's first game this season will be against his former team, which drafted him in 2017. Lawson spent four seasons in stripes and now will be on the other side of the AFC North rivalry.
Martin has made five special teams tackles in two games this season.
The Ravens did not elevate veteran defensive lineman Josh Tupou or David Olajiga to take Bryan's spot, an indication that rookie Aeneas "Fub" Peebles could return to game action for the first time since Week 5 against the Houston Texans.
