The Caw: Here Comes DOOOOOOOM

I can hear it now.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

That's the nickname new Ravens outside linebacker/sack artist Elvis Dumervil went by in Denver. And that's what he wants fans to yell at M&T Bank Stadium.

During a chat with Dumervil on Tuesday, a fan asked permission to scream it when he makes a play.

"Absolutely," Dumervil said. "Just make sure you use that bass voice. Doooooooooom!"

The Ravens have lost a few of their best elongated vowel guys this offseason.

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed will get the country version of that now. Quuuuuuuuuuuu will hear his name rolling over the hills in San Francisco. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeap is long gone. There's still Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeach, but that's really it.

Personally, I think Doooooom may be the best of all. Not only is it just plain hardcore, it also reminds me of the old computer game. Any other gamers out there?

Dumervil was paired with fellow pass rusher Von Miller to become "Doom & Gloom" in Denver. Will Suggs step into that nickname now? Something tells me he'll come up with something original.

New safety Michael Huff needs help with a nickname, however. In our live chat with him, he said he didn't have one and that fans can make one up.

So with that in mind, what do you have for Huff?

I've seen fans toss out Huff the Magic Dragon, Huff & Puff and Huffy the QB Slayer (among many others).

But I have a feeling we'll settle with Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuff.
