Several members of the 2025 Ravens roster will be asked to assume larger roles under new Head Coach Jesse Minter.
Here are three players with an excellent chance to earn more snaps:
WR Devontez Walker
2025 playing time: 163 offensive snaps (16%), 168 special teams snaps (37%)
2025 stats: 12 games, 6 catches, 136 yards, 3 touchdowns
Walker could become the No. 3 wide receiver behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, with DeAndre Hopkins and Tylan Wallace both being pending free agents. Tight ends Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar may also depart in free agency, which could lead to more targets for the entire wide receiver group.
While Walker's playing time has been limited during his first two seasons, he has already made an impact. He has scored touchdowns on four of his seven career receptions, showing a terrific knack for finding the end zone.
Walker finished the 2025 season on a high note with a career-high 46 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers, including a 38-yard score on the opening drive.
Having already established chemistry with Lamar Jackson, Walker will look to seize an opportunity to become a greater part of the passing attack.
G Emery Jones Jr.
2025 playing time: five games, 49 offensive snaps (5%), 9 special teams snaps (2%)
Jones could compete for a starting guard position, with Daniel Faalele being a free agent and the Ravens looking to improve pass protection for Jackson.
After undergoing shoulder surgery following last year's Combine, Jones spent much of his rookie season trying to get healthy. He made his debut Thanksgiving night against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he entered the offseason healthy and ready to focus on his development. He won't turn 22 until March 5, making Jones one of the youngest players on the roster.
Jones was a third-round pick last season out of LSU, so the Ravens were obviously high on him entering the draft. If he seizes a starting role, 2026 could be a breakout season.
DL Aeneas Peebles
2025 playing time: 71 defensive snaps (6%), 33 special teams snaps (7%)
2025 stats: six games, 3 tackles, 1 quarterback hit
Peebles fell out of the defensive line rotation after playing in five straight games to start his rookie season. He appeared in just one game after Week 5 and was usually a healthy scratch on game days.
However, Peebles will enter this offseason with more experience under his belt and an opportunity to earn more playing time. Peebles was an excellent interior pass rusher in college with 11.5 sacks. If the new coaching staff under Minter can help Peebles unlock his potential, he could reemerge as a regular part of the line rotation.
