Emerged as one of LSU's top defenders in 2019 … Played the best football of his LSU career down the stretch, earning defensive MVP honors in the win over Clemson in the national championship game … Versatile linebacker who mentored under All-America and Butkus Award winner Devin White a year ago … Learned a great deal from White and then served as a mentor to LSU's younger linebackers in 2019 … Got first career start in 2018, starting in place of a suspended Devin White (targeting) against Alabama … That game served as a confidence springboard for him that led to his most productive season yet … Hard worker in the weight room and classroom … Started four of LSU's final five games in 2018 and then had 11 starts in 2019 … Capped career playing in 41 games, starting 16 times … 131 career tackles along with 17.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks … Opted to forgo final season at LSU and entered into the 2020 NFL Draft.
